Broadcast

For optimal operation of the site and access to all functionality for broadcasting, we recommend that you use browsers: Google Chrome, Opera, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Yandex browser, Safari.
How to start broadcasting?
• To start the broadcast, log in to the site under your login or register.
• Go to the main menu (in the upper left corner the “Menu” icon
), select "My stations"> "Created" or use the shortcut button (icon in the upper right corner of the
).
• On the page that opens in the “Created” tab or in the shortcut window, click on the “Broadcast” button

How to make a microphone available?
When you first click on the “Start Broadcast” button, the translator will ask for access to your microphone (as in the pictures below). Click "Allow" to start the broadcast.

In Google Chrome and Opera:

In the field to the right, when the broadcast is started, you can see the microphone oscillations - they show that the broadcast from the microphone or stereo mixer is normal. If there is no oscillation, then the broadcast from the microphone or stereo mixer does not go. If the signal level indicator is completely filled with white - most likely, the microphone is strongly fonite and you should lower its volume, move it away from the speakers or turn off the speakers.

If for any reason you did not allow access to the microphone, you can do it manually as follows:
In the address bar of the search (as in the pictures below), click on the highlighted microphone icon and according to the pictures above, allow access to the microphone.

When broadcasting music goes directly from our server without downloading your Internet.


1. The“ Start Broadcast ”button - after clicking on it, the device is recording by default (usually it is a microphone).
2.“ Start recording "- allows you to record the air, the recording time is limited in time. After saving, the new file will appear in the “Records” folder, which is located on the “Records/Podcasts” tab.
3. This field is made to listen to your broadcast and display information on the number of listeners. Click on the "Play" button (in the picture in the upper left corner) to start hearing your broadcast, if you want to hear your voice too, check the box "Hear yourself". The field “Subject of the ether” serves to attract interested listeners to the station. It (if specified) is displayed in the player on the listening page of the station.

13. In this field you can manage the tracks during the broadcast. Turn on any track from the list when you press the corresponding button, select the track volume, rewind it or change the playback order by dragging the tracks up or down.
14. Allows you to preview the track before sending it to the air. During playback, the track will be heard only by you. Launched composition is not interrupted.
How to work with auto DJ?
Auto-DJ is designed for uninterrupted music playback at your station.

1. “Start” button - launches Auto-DJ with the current playlist.
2. Stop Auto-DJ.
3. Enable / Disable Shuffle Playlist.
4. Enable / disable smooth transition between tracks (crossfade).
5. This option is designed to ensure the smooth operation of your station.

If this option is enabled, then Auto-DJ pauses when you start streaming (via the translator on the website or using some software). If the broadcast is interrupted, then after 5 seconds, Auto-DJ automatically resumes playing the playlist.

6. In this list you need to transfer tracks to work Auto-DJ. Playlist is saved automatically when changed.
How to broadcast all sounds from your computer?
This section is intended for those who wish to broadcast sound directly from their computer or use professional software and hardware.

The simplest and most accessible way to broadcast what you hear from your speakers is to use the mixer built into the sound card. Thus, you can broadcast from your computer and third-party sites as well as the sound processed by special programs. (including mixed in real time) and the sound from the DJ console. To do this, you need to make sure that you have installed a sound driver that matches your sound card. It can be found on the disk attached to the computer when you purchase it or on the official website of the company that produced your computer / laptop or sound card. If you have a Realtek sound card (most likely, they are most often built into the motherboard), then you have 100% equipment that meets all requirements.

Next, you need to replace the default device from the microphone to the stereo mixer, this is necessary so that all the reproduced sounds from the PC go on the air.

Windows 10 example (in other OS, the actions are almost the same) To start broadcasting all sounds from your PC, you need: on the Windows toolbar at the bottom right, right-click on the volume control icon


In the list that appears, select "Sounds."


In the window that opens, select the default device "Stereo Mixer" (in this case, if you did everything correctly, the stereo mixer will be marked with a green tick), and press the “OK” button.


Then you need to refresh the page with the translator and click the “Broadcast” button - all sounds from your computer that can be heard in the speakers and headphones (including notifications of instant messengers) will be aired.

To avoid the background on the air, use headphones.
Broadcast from PC using special software
PC broadcast is a service with which you can capture all sounds from a computer and broadcast them via Icecast protocol using specialized broadcast programs.
To do this, use the Icecast connection settings on the broadcast page:

Scroll down to the Stream item and click on the right panel.


The opened parameters of the stream are entered into your special software and you can begin to broadcast (an example of the parameters is presented below).


You can use third-party software: SAM Broadcaster, RadioBOSS, Butt, and so on, as well as our software based on the open source program Butt.

About the service

Zvukradio is a social network that allows you to create your own radio stations, relay from FM to the Internet, share music, video and news, place the player or chat on other sites and much more. To get access to all the features of the service, you need to register on the site, create your own station or subscribe to other users stations.
How to create an account?
• To create an account, click the "Login"
button in the upper right corner and go to the "Registration" tab.
• Fill in the “Email” field and click on the “Register” button

How to add a station?
What does adding a station mean?
If you already have a station on any other service, and you want to use it here, you can simply add it to us. You can do this as follows:

• On the page that opens, in the “Added” tab or in the shortcut window, click “Add Station”

User profile

To set up a personal profile and change information about yourself, log in - after that the link to the settings page will be available in the main menu of the site (in the upper left corner the “Menu” icon
) to the right of the user's photo "Settings."
On the settings page, you can change the photo, add user information, contact details, link the entrance through social networks and change the password.
The information specified in the profile settings and links to social networks may be available to other users Breakwater when viewing your profile. Email is required to become a DJ at the station, phone numbers are not published.
How to add or change a profile photo?
To add a profile photo for the first time, click on the gray circle on the left on the profile settings page. In the dialog that opens, select the image and click the "Open" button. In the next dialog, select the visible image area and click the Save button.

To change the photo, click on the previously uploaded picture and repeat the selection and saving of the new image.

Images in JPG, PNG, GIF format are available for download. Images in GIF format are automatically converted to JPG.
How to change the password?
• Scroll down the profile settings page down to the “Change of password” item
• Enter the old and new passwords in the appropriate input fields and click
Save changes

• Your password has been successfully changed.

Station settings

To go to the general settings page of the station, click the shortcut menu icon
, select the station and click the icon Settings
next to the name. Or go to the “My Stations” page (“Main Menu”> “My Stations”> “Created” / “Added”) and click the “Settings” button

The station settings page includes three sections in the respective tabs - basic settings, JS code, station design.

On the general settings page of the station, you can change the name, change or add a description and other general information about the station, enable or disable requests to become DJs, delete existing DJs, and delete a station.

The JS code tab is designed to place the player and chat your station on your site.

The tab with the settings of the design allows you to control the appearance of the stations - load or change the logo, add / remove the background image and set its position, change the background under the page content.
How to change the name, description, genre, country or language of the station?
To change the listed information on the station, open the “Station Settings” page, go to “Basic” tab, fill in the appropriate fields in the form and click the “Save” button.
This information will be visible to all users on the station's listening page and partially on the station card on the page of all stations.
We recommend filling it out as fully as possible in order to attract more interested listeners to the station.
How to assign DJs at the station?
You can designate a user as a DJ at the station if he proposed his candidacy, by clicking on the link “Become a DJ at this station” on the audition page.
To receive requests from DJs, set the switch against the “Accept requests to DJ” field in the “On” position
("Station Settings"> "Basic"). Notifications of incoming requests will be visible at the bottom of the Station Settings page in the Basic tab.
To nominate a DJ, accept his request or decline to refuse.
How to configure station visibility for all users?
To configure access to a station for a limited number of users, it is necessary on the “Station Settings” page in the “Basic” tab to set the “Hide the station” parameter switch to “On”

After that, students will be able to find the station and join it only at a personal invitation with a link to the listening page.
How to embed a player or chat station on other sites?
It is possible to embed a player or chat station to another site using JS code - the script that you need add to the code of the desired site. To generate JS code, go to the settings page of the desired stations and click on the tab «JS code». On the settings page of JS code, you can edit the appearance of the player and chat.
The embed code changes automatically every time the design parameters change.
How to change the logo or background image of the station?
To change the logo or background image of the station, on the settings page, go to the tab “Design” and click the “Load” button

Downloaded images are saved and applied automatically.

Station content

At each of the created stations, you can add music, share photos, videos, news and podcast recordings. The added materials are visible to all users of the Breakwater in the respective tabs on the station listening page.
How to add and delete images?
The downloaded images appear in the “Gallery” section on the station’s listening page.
You can add an image to a station in three ways:

1. Being on the station listening page.
• Scroll down the page to see the tabs: Comments, Video, Gallery, News, Podcasts, and click on the Gallery tab.
• Click on the button “Add image”

• In the dialog that opens, click on the button “Upload image”
, and select a photo. Optionally, add a short description to the image and click the Add button.


2. Being on the “My stations” page (Main menu> My stations> Created / Added).
• Click on the “Add photo” icon
in the card of the desired station.
• In the dialog that opens, click on the button “Load image”

How to add and delete videos?
Uploaded videos appear in the "Video" section on the station's listening page.
To add a video to the station, use the links from the www.youtube.com service. Added videos appear in the "Video" section on the station's listening page.
You can add video to the station in three ways:

1. Being on the station listening page.
• Scroll down the page to see the tabs: “Comments, Video, Gallery, News, Podcasts” and click on the “Video” tab.
• Click on the “Add Video” button

• In the dialog that opens, fill in the required fields (fields marked with asterisks are required) and click the Add button


2. Being on the “My stations” page (Main menu> My stations> Created / Added)
• Click on the “Add Video” icon
in the desired station's card.

You can delete videos only on the station’s listening page.
• Go to the “Video” section on the station page.
• Click the "Delete" button
in the upper right corner of the thumbnail of the desired video.
• Confirm the action in the dialog that opens.

You can edit the data of added videos only on the station listening page.
• Click the Edit button
in the upper right corner of the thumbnail of the desired movie.
• In the dialog that opens, make changes and save them by clicking the Save button.
How to add and delete news?
Published news appears in the "News" section on the station's listening page, on the main page in the news list, as well as on the news page.
When adding news to it, you can upload up to 10 photos, up to 10 tracks and one video.
Add News to the station in three ways:

1. Being on the station listening page.
• Scroll down the page to see the tabs: “Comments, Video, Gallery, News, Podcasts” and click on the “News” tab.
• Click on the “Add News” button

• In the editor that opens, fill in the required fields, and download the cover for the news. Additionally, you can download images, videos and music. When the news is ready, click the “Publish” button.

Finance

To find out the current balance, open the main menu of the site (in the upper left corner the “Menu” icon
) and select the "Finance" item. To replenish the balance, click "Top up". In the window that opens, enter the required amount and select a payment system.
All operations with the balance are displayed in the history.
