British singer Mika is preparing to release a new single "Modern Times" and its musical accompaniment - a dance video, directed by Rupert Heller. The song, an expression of disillusionment in the modern world, will be the first single from the upcoming album. Mika shared that making the album took two years and was a special journey, stressing that he remains true to his creative work. In the new music, written alone at the piano, there is a real explosion of kaleidoscopic energy, combining extroversion, psychedelic moments and melody. For production, he turned to Nick Littlemore, which allowed him to create a joyful, synthesizer sound world. Recordings took place in different parts of the world - from Montreal and Tuscany to Bangkok. The new album promises to be an incredible dance journey across Europe, with its release slated for 2026, in parallel with a major European tour scheduled to kick off in February 2026.
