Charlie HSH and John Cale create the soundtrack for the new film adaptation of “Wuthering Heights”

The new single and video "House" from Charlie HSH, together with the British multi-instrumentalist John Cale, will be part of the soundtrack to the film adaptation of the novel "Wuthering Heights" under the direction of director Emirald Fennell. The song was written by the two, and in the clip John Cale himself appears along with Charlie and a huge black raven.

The idea of collaboration arose after Emiral Fennell invited Charlie to work on the music for the film. Inspired by the script, Charlie and Finn Keane wrote several songs that reflect the atmosphere of the work: passion, pain, English nature, determination and courage.

Charlie also explained that the key role in creating the sound was played by a phrase from the documentary about the Velvet Underground, which was described by John Cale: “elegant and brutal”. In the end, based on this idea and in collaboration with John Cale, the track "House" was created. Charlie shared that the process of creating the song was special, and she is excited to introduce this track to listeners.
