D'Angelo still says, "You'll see soon."

Even though it has been almost a month and a half since the death of Neosoul pioneer D’Angelo, he doesn’t seem to be about to let go of the final fight. Last weekend in Los Angeles, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame ceremony took place, and Questlove, the leader of The Roots, when asked about D’Angelo’s unpublished music, said with a smile: “You’ll see soon.” With him, yesterday always sounded like the future, and the new record is no exception.

Kuestlav was actively involved in the recording of the albums Brown Sugar and Black Messiah, and on the fourth work D’Angelo worked with Rafael Sadiq, as well as planned his contribution to the Roots Picnic festival in Philadelphia, which the musician had to miss due to health problems.
