Sound and Purity Symposium – Preservation and Restoration of Musical Heritage

The Russian Music Union, with the support of the Presidential Foundation for Cultural Initiatives, will organize the III International Symposium of the Academic Music Recording Industry on November 19-21, 2025 in Moscow. Gathering more than 20 Russian companies, studios and educational institutions, including a historical partner - FIRMA MELODIU (the guardian of the country's musical history with an archive of more than 230 thousand speakers), the symposium will focus on the key topic - the restoration of archival sound recordings.

This process, according to experts such as sound engineer-restorer Maxim Pilipov, is a sacred duty to time, culture and humanity, allowing you to preserve the unique interpretations, pristine sound and “breath of the past” of great composers and performers.
