LRK Trio: Symphony of Jazz

LRK Trio has unveiled its sixth album on the Melody label, the result of an ambitious project combining jazz improvisation with the power of a symphony orchestra. Over a decade of collaboration, the musicians have demonstrated jazz’s unique ability to open up new sound horizons while remaining true to the freedom of improvisation while simultaneously unfolding in a grandiose symphonic format.

The recording of eight compositions, full of vivid orchestral colors, complex rhythms and deep emotions, was completed in just two days. The idea of cooperation with the orchestra arose a long time ago and was embodied thanks to the support of partners and the enthusiasm of musicians. The recording took place in the legendary studio of the GDRZ, where many significant works were created, and the atmosphere and traditions of this space influenced the sound.

Each member of the trio made a unique contribution to the project: Evgeny Lebedev – an exquisite connection between jazz and Russian classics, Anton Revnyuk – a fundamental rhythmic basis, and Ignat Kravtsov – a vivid artistic expression. The recording was attended by the Euphoria Orchestra, led by Elizaveta Korneeva.
