Julia Parshuta and Mark Tishman will perform “Maestro” in a cover version

Yulia Parshuta and Mark Tishman are preparing to present a cover version of the cult song of Alla Pugacheva “Maestro”. This version will be part of the concert of Ilya Reznik, the author of the lyrics of many famous hits. Initially, the composition was released on a vinyl minion in 1981, and the performers say that they were offered to take part in the concert, and they chose the Maestro under the approval of Ilya Reznik himself.

“For us, this was the starting point,” they share. We have one sacred love for music, and we have passed this song through our hearts. They emphasize that they wanted to preserve the spirit of the original, but to create something new. Yulia Parshuta admits that the work on the cover was not easy because of the responsibility to such a legendary song. Mark Tishman also emphasizes that he took on a lot of responsibility for the sound, and it was a real challenge.
