Pink Floyd pay tribute to Syd Barrett: "Shine on You Crazy Diamond" in full and anniversary reissue of "Wish You Were Here"

On the 50th anniversary of the cult band Pink Floyd, the long-awaited and full-blown edition of "Shine on You Crazy Diamond" is released, which for decades has been one of the most significant songs dedicated to the band's first vocalist, Sid Barrett. A full 25-minute version of this epic composition, known for its I-V and VI-IX parts, has finally been unveiled in a new stereomix version.

As part of the anniversary reissue of Wish You Were Here, which will be released on Blu-ray, double CD, triple vinyl and in the form of a luxury deluxe box set, customers will be able to purchase more than 34 tracks, including demos, alternative recordings and instrumental compositions, as well as an archival recording of the famous concert Pink Floyd at Wembley Stadium. According to legend, the creators of this edition even caught Sid Barrett, the great reclusive, during the recording of the song while the band was working on "Wish You Were Here". Along with the album, a new music video is released in which actor, comedian and artist Noel Fielding draws a portrait of Sid Barrett.
