Kirkorov and Margot: “Catch the lights” – a new star in the New Year’s program

Philip Kirkorov and Margot presented a new joint song “Catch the lights” on “Avtoradio”. In the show “Murzilki Live”, the artists told about the creation of the composition and shared important news for fans – their duet will sound on New Year’s Eve on federal channels.

“Catch the Lights” is the second collaboration between the artists, but for the first time it was presented as an independent story, rather than as part of an album. The author of the composition was the legendary Greek composer Dimitris Kontopoulos – the one who created the hits of Sergey Lazarev for Eurovision and Shady Lady for Ani Lorak.

Margot shared that they created the song as a fairy tale, not just sang it. She wanted the listener to "feel the lights in the heart." Inspired by Kirkorov, Margot admitted that she absorbs everything that can be learned and is eager to accept herself. The music video for the song was filmed in Thailand, where Kirkorov said Margot “enchanted” the perfect weather.

Kirkorov told how they met: first heard Margot at the festival and was amazed by her confidence. He noted that their cooperation began two years ago and they are friends, travel and create large-scale projects. The upcoming show, which will premiere on February 27-28 at the Live Arena, is scheduled for a large tour of the country.
