“Zero” will release an archival album “For three” – a look into the early history

On November 16, 2025, fans of the group Zero will be able to hear previously unreleased recordings in the form of a collection of "For Three". The digital release was prepared by the company "First Music", collecting archival concert recordings from 1986-1988, when the group consisted of three musicians.

Fyodor Chistyakov personally picked up these early recordings. In the recordings made exclusively at concert performances (without the possibility of studio work), the main sound producer of Leningrad rock of the 1980s, Andrei Tropillo, played an important role. He used Melody tonwagen for recordings, which was widely used for recording albums by bands such as BlockAda, Alice and Thaw. At Tropillo's direction, Zero recorded his earliest songs, which were created as part of the original trio, without a guitar. The collection “For Three” is a kind of unrealized debut album of the group.

The collection includes well-known and rare tracks, including "Introduction", "Forward, bolts", "We go to drink kvass" and others. Of particular value is the recording of the song "AIDS", the only one in this collection, and "I am already a person", made by Andrei Tropillo at the legendary concert in Shushary on May 16, 1987.

The collection will be part of the larger project "Section Exit" on the re-release of early concert recordings of the group "Zero", and it is planned to release a recording of the very first concert of the group "Zero" in the Leningrad rock club.
