Iron Man 2.0: The power of sport unites Russia

A new video for Basta’s song “Iron Man 2.0” has become the official anthem of the Russian Weightlifting Federation. The video, shot in Moscow in the athletics arena of the Russian University of Sports SCOLIFK and the School of Olympic Reserve GBPOU "MSSUOR No 2" of Moskomsport, was attended by more than 150 athletes, from young amateurs to Olympic champions and weightlifting stars, including Artem Okulov, Zulfat Garayev and many others.

The music video, dedicated to strength, unity and dedication to sport, premiered on November 28, 2025. The filming was attended by the President of the Russian Weightlifting Federation Alexander Vinokurov, Olympic champion Dmitry Berestov, Mikhail Koklyaev and other famous athletes. According to Alexander Vinokurov, the idea of creating an anthem was born during joint training, and the goal was not only the development of weightlifting, but also the popularization of sports in general. Vasily Vakulenko expressed hope that the new anthem will be a source of inspiration for athletes and encourage more people to play sports.
