Yuri Antonov about life, creativity and New Year's plans

Legendary singer Yuri Antonov took part in the festival "New Song of the Year", where he gave an exclusive interview to gazetametro.ru. In the conversation, the 80-year-old artist told about his plans for the New Year, shared his thoughts on creativity and, of course, about his unusual life, full of cares for numerous pets.

Antonov humorously said that he will spend the New Year with friends, and, most likely, will not sing “rivers and mountains”. He also admitted that he was tired of the intense concert activity, after performing in St. Petersburg and two numbers at a national concert in Moscow.

Surprisingly, the singer does not complain about his age and continues to please fans with music. At the same time, he openly spoke about the rejection of public events and prefers to remain a modest person. And, of course, that his country house is a real zoo, where cats, chickens, roosters, geese, ducks, pheasants, peacocks and even pigeons live!
