Oxxxymiron Releases New Album Despite Scandal and Accusations

Oxxxymiron released the album “Nationality: No”, which immediately appeared on popular streaming platforms. This is his first release since the scandal that unfolded around the podcast “Robber’s Daughter”, where three girls accused him of grooming and violence. After the scandal, Miron Fyodorov (Oxxxymiron) disappeared from public space, canceling several concerts of his European and North American tour.

The album features eight tracks: “How am I doing”, “Vintage”, “Adventures”, “Lost & Found”, “Bank”, “Song of Songs”, “Russian Foreign Music” and “God in the Details”. The opening track “How Do I Do” is filled with “programme” statements in which Miron talks about the experience of the “yellow press”, the spontaneous decision to release the album and the general feeling of “life is good”. In subsequent tracks, he continues to show financial stability despite a cascade of accusations and concert cancellations.

The text of the album, according to experts, uses the tactics of gaslighting - denial of what happened and manipulation of facts. One of the consequences is a statement to the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation from one of the victims, Victoria Mikhailova, who filed a complaint. The album contains references to the famous song "Everything that doesn't kill me makes me richer" and the phrase "An old photo, a new arch", emphasizing his carefree attitude to the situation. Acceptance of the new creator Myron by the public will tell time.
