Sound: Top Music, Podcasts and Audiobooks of 2025 – Popular Trends and Favorites of Different Generations

Music service "Sound" has published an annual report reflecting the music preferences of users in 2025. It features the most popular tracks, artists, podcasts and audiobooks, as well as ratings broken down by generation (alpha, buzzers and millennials).

The main artist of the year was Vanya Dmitrienko, and the most auditioned – Anna Asti. The track of the year was recognized as "Heritage" by Icegert and Sky Rae, and the album - "Bratland" by Macan. Basta leads in the number of tracks in the charts.

Tatiana Bulanova’s sudden comeback caused a special wave of discussions, while the track “Basic Minimum” from Sabi and Mia Boyka became “Trend of the Year”. The group "Attention of lingonberry!" won the title "Louder", and the song "Editor's Choice" was noted by Andrei Katikov.

By generation, the most beloved artists: the alpha generation – Madk1d, buzzers – Icegert, millennials – Feduk.

In the podcast category, the leader was “10 Stupid Questions” from the YouTube channel “Gisa”, as well as the trout-crame podcasts “Laura Palna’s Diaries” and “This Is the Case”.

Among the audiobooks are Penn Cole’s world hit “Spark of Eternal Flame”, the collection of short stories by Evgeny Grishkovets “The Order of Words” and the disaster novel by Yana Wagner “Tunnel”.

In the children's content - the track "Figma Phonk" from Smesharikov and the podcast "KHRUM or Fairy Tale Detective".

Sergey Glebashev, marketing director of Sound, noted that these results are created in order to remind listeners of significant moments and make them brighter, and music, podcasts and audiobooks become an integral part of their lives.
