In a large-scale study conducted by hh.ru analysts together with KION Music, the preferences of Russian employees in the field of corporate culture and entertainment are analyzed. The survey, which covered more than 2,000 people from different regions, identified key trends in the organization of leisure activities at work.
More than 70% of respondents believe that companies should regularly host corporate events, and just over 60% confirmed that their employers organize them, including the New Year holidays. However, attendance at these events remains variable: only about 30% of employees participate in them regularly, 40% attend selectively, and 30% refuse at all. Residents of the Far Eastern Federal District (81%) most often visit corporate events, followed by the Volga (74%) and Moscow (72%) regions.
The issue of musical accompaniment has caused controversy: 24% prefer modern music of the 2020s, 23% prefer music of the 90s and 2000s, and 40% prefer pop music. Also popular are rock (17%), classical music (14%) and electronic music (13%). Most (57%) dream of seeing a live artist at a corporate event – Basta, Zivert, Leonid Agutin and others were most often mentioned.
Despite this, karaoke is less popular: 45% are positive about it, 23% are not involved but not against it, and 18% are negative. The most popular songs for joint performance are "Horse" of the group "Lube", "Battery" of the group "Beetles" and other hits of the 90s and 2000s.
Maria Ignatova, director of research at hh.ru, emphasizes: Corporate is not just a holiday, but an important part of the HR brand. The main thing is to take into account the wishes of the team, creating a comfortable atmosphere and providing freedom of choice, so that employees feel involved and happy.
