Maxim Fadeev on the trends of 2025: Stadiums, retro and “eras” in music

In an interview with TASS, producer Maxim Fadeev assessed the results of 2025 in the Russian show business, outlining the key trends. He noted a significant increase in the popularity of stadium concerts among domestic artists, stressing that the demand for them exceeds his own capabilities - he gives only 6-7 concerts a year at stadiums with a capacity of 10-12 thousand people.

Fadeyev also expressed joy at the return of retro artists to the music charts, especially groups popular at zero. As part of this trend, he plans to release new songs, including a re-recorded version of the track "Snow Comes" with "Silver", which is popular on social media. In addition, the producer intends to publish previously unreleased materials: the album of Lena Zosimova, collected over 20 years, and tracks from the “Star Factory – 5”.

Fadeev predicts that in the future, success will be achieved by artists who are able to create whole “ages” around their works, combining music with visual and theatrical art forms. An example for him is the soundtrack to the film "Aviator".

Finally, the producer noted that in 2025, the public’s attention was focused on scandals, not music, which, in his opinion, is the result of the distortion of the attention system in the media space. Fadeev believes that the media, cultivating scandals, interfere with the dissemination of quality music.
