Musician and composer Roman Mukhachev has passed away

Musician, composer and arranger Roman Mukhachev, 54, died in Moscow on December 22, 2025. His death was announced by friends on social media.

Roman Mukhachev, who was born on February 11, 1971 in the village of Gremikha (now the city of Ostrovsky) in the Murmansk region, lived most of his life in Moscow. He received a musical education, going from a student of accordion in a music school to a graduate of MIREA and the composition department of the Academy of Choral Arts. V.S. Popova.

During his career, the musician was a keyboardist of the Time-Out group (under the pseudonym Terminator Kuklachev), a member of Mirage, Walrusovs and Lyceum, the leader of the ROM group, and also worked as a presenter of the radio program Music of Zeros and Ones and an author of music for theater and television. In 2016, he suffered a stroke, but was able to return to music. The funeral will take place on December 26 at 13:00 at the Troekurovsky cemetery.
