5 Years of Drivers License: The Birth of Star Olivia Rodrigo

The fifth year since the release of Olivia Rodrigo's debut hit, "drivers license", which was a real breakthrough. On January 8, 2021, this single topped Billboard (Olivia, then 17, became the youngest artist to reach this top), received a Grammy Award and launched her career. Ahead of the 7-inch single featuring a cover of Talking Heads' "Burning Down the House," it included David Byrne and Olivia Rodrigo, who performed together for the first time at the Governor's Ball. The upcoming release of "drivers license" (April) can already be pre-ordered on Rodrigo's website, and in honor of the 5th anniversary of the debut album "Sour" (May 21), cover versions are planned, which, perhaps, will be performed by many artists.
