Life and Music of Vyacheslav Dobrynin: Documentary

January 24, 2026 at 10.15 on the First channel will be the premiere of the documentary film “From the first to the last note”, dedicated to the life and work of 80-year-old composer and singer Vyacheslav Dobrynin. The anniversary, which could be celebrated on January 25, will be marked by a unique project that reveals the incredible history of its formation.

The film tells about how in three years of the future star Slavik received a toy harmonica as a gift, which was the beginning of his musical path. From children’s melodies to concert halls and stadiums, the journey has been long and busy. He started at a music school, where he received a basic education, and then entered MSU to study world art history.

In the 60s, inspired by the Beatles, Dobrynin created a student ensemble, thanks to which he received the recognition of professionals. The famous story with Oleg Lundstrem’s orchestra, Boris Kochermasov’s poem “Dreams” and editor Galina Gordeeva gave rise to his career as a singer under the pseudonym Gordeev. Dobrynin’s songs, such as Love Lives on Earth and Farewell, became hits, and his music influenced many artists.

However, the composer’s personal life was no less interesting. Difficulties in the family, passion for football and a chance meeting at the Dynamo banquet led to new relationships and happiness. The film is attended by relatives and colleagues, including widow Irina Dobrynina, Lev Leshchenko, Mikhail Boyarsky and others. A special event will be the broadcast of the gala concert “Doctor Schlyager”, held at the State Design Committee on November 16, 2025, where famous artists will perform songs by Vyacheslav Dobrynin.
