Arctic Monkeys and Star cast team up for charity compilation 'HELP(2)'

Arctic Monkeys have unveiled their first song in four years, "Opening Night", which is the lead single of the new charity compilation HELP(2). All proceeds will go to War Child UK. The compilation is the sequel to 1995's legendary "The Help Album," which brought together such stars as Radiohead, Oasis, Portishead and Sinead O'Connor.

The recording of "HELP(2)" took place at Abbey Road Studios under the direction of James Ford and included a team of professionals: Olivia Rodrigo, Depeche Mode, Pulp, Beth Gibbons, Beck, Bat for Lashes, Foals, Young Father, Arlo Parks, Wet Leg, The Last Dinner Party and many others. Many tracks are covers, such as Rodrigo with Graham Coxon (Blur) performed "The Book of Love" by The Magnetic Fields, and Fontaines D.C. "Black Boys on Mopeds" by Sinead O'Connor

The compilation, which includes 23 tracks, will be released on March 6 and is available for pre-order. The project involved the director of the Oscar-winning film Zone of Interest, Jonathan Glazer, who, working with activists from Ukraine, Gaza, Yemen and Sudan, provided the visual part of HELP(2) with cameras for children living in war zones.
