Taylor Swift inducted into Songwriters Hall of Fame: Record Youth and Recognition

Taylor Swift will be the first woman to be inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in her first year. This momentous moment will come 20 years after the release of her debut hit "Tim McGraw." At 36, Swift will surpass all previous women in SHOF to become the youngest – formerly the youngest was Stevie Wonder at 32. By comparison, Boba Dylan and Paul Simon were inducted into the Hall of Fame at the age of 40, while Prince and R.E.M. - recently. The new SHOF lineup also features a host of talented authors, including Alanis Morissette, Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Walter Afanasieff, Kenny Loggins, Christopher "Tricky" Stewart and co-authored duo Terry Britten and Graham Lyle. The awards ceremony will take place on June 11 at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City.
