My Morning Jacket Release ‘Peacelands’ Album in Support of Charities

My Morning Jacket, a famous American jam band inspired by Bruce Springsteen, have released their new album, "Peacelands". The album, released on Bandcamp, is a collection of protest songs featuring works by such legends as Woody Guthrie, Bob Dylan, Brian Wilson, Lou Reed and My Morning Jacket. All proceeds from the sale of the album will go to American charities such as the American Civil Liberties Union, Doctors Without Borders and the International Rescue Committee. The band's frontman, Jim James, said the release, recorded in California with producer Sean Everett, was an expression of support for Minnesotans and those affected by ICE's actions.
