Aquarium unveils new album "Strange News with a Far Star"

On January 15, Aquarium released their new studio album Strange News with a Far Star on Bandcamp. This is the band's first album since the EP "Pictures Of You", released in December 2024. The album includes 10 songs, including "Talk About the Dead", which sets the dark tone of the album, and soulful songs "All Cats are Grey" and "Save and Save". "Crows of the Crows" is a highly social satire, and the track "From the Garden of Stones" brings an element of hope. It is worth noting that most of the participants of the Aquarium are now outside of Russia, and Boris Grebenshchikov is declared a foreign agent, despite the fact that the band’s concerts on a global scale are sold out.
