The Coral Are Suddenly Coming Back With New Album

Merseyside band The Coral continues to surprise their fans with unexpected releases: first, releasing a new album "388" on vinyl (from May 8 in UK stores), and then - today - immediately on streaming services. This is the band's 13th album, which, according to James Skelly, singer, "if you're not superstars on your 13th album, you can at least try to be interesting." The band uses a similar, unpredictable approach to maintain interest in their work – both their own and their fans. The idea is for the album to come out unexplained, like traditional music publications. The Coral released two albums simultaneously to create the Holly Joe's Coral Island Medicine Show. The new album, 388, was inspired by the band's 30-year history, the book about their debut album and the documentary Dreaming of You.
