Bloc Party announce new album ‘Anatomy of a Brief Romance’

Bloc Party, despite not having charted in the UK in the last ten years, remains a significant group in their country. On September 11, they released a new album, "Anatomy of a Brief Romance", produced by acclaimed producer Trevor Horne, winner of the Grammy Awards and three Brit Awards. The album features 14 tracks, including the single "Coming On Strong", released today. Bloc Party frontman Kele Oquereke said the album is highly autobiographical: “Every line reflects real events from my life, and I felt the need to tell this story from beginning to end.” This album is the result of Okereke’s personal experience after divorcing the father of his children and the emergence of a new love in his life: “This novel helped me cope with difficult times.” The album "Anatomy of a Brief Romance" is available here.
