Boards of Canada are preparing “Inferno”: lead single release and world tour

Scottish duo Boards of Canada are preparing for the long-awaited release of their first album in 13 years, and in just a month fans are waiting for the premiere of “Inferno”. The lead single was released today, combining the album’s first two tracks, “Introit” and “Prophecy at 1420 MHz.” The video for this single was directed by the famous musician and artist Robert Batie, who previously created covers for artists such as Tame Impala, Oneohtrix Point Never and The Weeknd. The album is scheduled to premiere on May 22, followed by Inferno next week in Tokyo, Berlin, Barcelona, London, Glasgow, New York and Los Angeles.
