Gleb Malechkin, leader of Dangerous Neighbors

Gleb Malechkin, the founder and key figure of the legendary rock band Dangerous Neighbors, has died at the age of 63. This was announced by producer Olga Koroly-Borodyuk, who also promised to talk about the upcoming farewell ceremony.

Glebushka, as his friends affectionately called him, was distinguished by charm, cheerfulness and wide popularity. Since childhood, he showed leadership qualities, was fond of sports (football, hockey, swimming) and loved nature. His memorable image – blue eyes with a daring spark, a school smile and a confident gait – will remain in the memory of loved ones.

Together with Gleb "Dangerous Neighbors" formed five inseparable friends: Yuri Ivanych "Swed", Arkhipetsky, Sasha Magadan, Zhukov and Max. All of them have left this world, but, as Olga the Borodyuk King put it, Gleb will soon join them.

Dangerous Neighbors, a Soviet and Russian rock band that originated in Leningrad in 1983, rose to prominence through performances at rock festivals in the Baltics and Leningrad in the late 80s. Despite frequent line-up changes, Gleb Malechkin remained the band's constant guitarist and vocalist. Their musical heritage includes magneto albums, vinyl records and CDs (the last album "Collection of Works" was released in 2000).
