"Voices of Roads" and "Golden Voices of Uglich": Festival of Sacred Music in the Old Town

In June 2026, the choir of the CDCJ “Voices of Roads” took part in the IV Festival of Sacred Music “Golden Voices of Uglich”. The event, which brought together amateur choir groups from Moscow and Sevastopol, took place from 5 to 7 June and became a bright celebration of music, creativity and friendship. The main events of the festival took place in the walls of the Uglich Kremlin and the famous monasteries of the Golden Ring of Russia.

A concert of secular music dedicated to Pushkin’s birthday was held in the Epiphany Cathedral of the Uglich Kremlin, where works referring to Russian culture and literature were played. Especially remember the evening of friendship, when the participants of various choral groups gathered to exchange creativity and memories. This evening highlighted the powerful power of music that unites people of different generations and cities.

The festival ended with a concert of sacred music in the Transfiguration Cathedral of the Uglich Kremlin, where works of the spiritual choral repertoire were performed, creating an atmosphere of inspiration and spiritual unity. The organizer of the festival was Andrei Goryachev, known in the Golden Ring of Russia as a choral conductor and president of the Pokrov Trusteeship Fund, who contributes to the development of Russian choral art.
