Ukraine invests in cultural product: the program "Thousands of Years"

Ukraine is launching a large-scale program to support the cultural industry called "Thousands", with a budget of 4 billion hryvnias (about 90 million US dollars). The project provides funding for a wide range of initiatives available to companies, individuals, public organizations and creative unions registered in Ukraine. Applications are not restricted. The Ministry of Culture explains the high demand for Russian-language content (71% of Ukrainians consume it) as a lack of Ukrainian product: “Our goal is to create powerful Ukrainian content that will be in demand and discussed.”
