Sparks Record Album on the Moon with Cate Blanchett

Sparks have released their second live album, which the Maile brothers claim is the first live album in the history of popular and academic music recorded directly on the moon. This historic release, Live on the Moon, came after their successful world tour last year and was accompanied by an incredible stir: all tickets sold out within an hour, thanks to the delight of lunar fans. The album itself includes tracks from their latest studio album, "Mad!", intertwined with Sparks classics, including both new songs and hits from past years. On the journey to the moon joined Oscar-winning Cate Blanchett, who acted as a "lunar emsy", and after a soldier show for moon viewers, the group plans to return to Earth with concerts, including warming up the Gorillaz stadium show in London, where stars such as Johnny Marr and Little Simz are expected to participate.
