Wedding dreams of Russians: preferences and musical tastes

The study, conducted by the service “Kion Music” and the jewelry chain Sunlight, revealed the key aspects of the perception of the ideal wedding among Russian citizens. The majority (68%) consider weddings to be an important part of a wedding, and almost half of respondents (52%) have a clear idea of what their “reference” ceremony should look like. In general, dreams of the perfect wedding are formed between the ages of 18 and 24 years (35%), and even one in five (21%) have such thoughts before the age of majority.

Newlyweds pay special attention to musical accompaniment – 85% of respondents consider the right choice of music a key element of the holiday. The leaders in popularity among Russian performers for weddings were the group Disco Accident (18%), Sergey Lazarev (16%) and Grigory Leps (15%). The top 5 also included Leonid Agutin and Dima Bilan, who received 14% and 14% of the votes, respectively.

And the choice of wedding music turned out to be very colorful: the most favorite song was Glyukoza’s “Bride” (13%), followed by the tracks “White Dress” by the duo “Tea Together” and “Wedding” by Muslim Magomayev, also with the same result of 13% and 12%, respectively. Close the rating of the song Irina Allegrova “Wedding flowers” (10%) and Egor Creed “Bride” (8%).
