The Air of Karelia 2026: The Festival That Became a Legend

On June 13-14, 2026, the third multi-format festival "Air of Karelia" was completed in Petrozavodsk, which gathered more than 50 thousand guests from 52 regions of Russia - from Kaliningrad to Vladivostok. Scenes of the evening shone such artists as polnalyubvi, "Brigade contract", Linda, "Troll Gnet El", "Northern fleet" and the legendary Vadim Samoilov, and a special guest was Sqwoz Bab. An unexpected surprise was the appearance of the People’s Artist of Russia Denis Maidanov.

The festival pleased not only with the music program, but also with changing weather – from the sultry sun to hurricane winds. A special moment was the romantic gesture of a resident of Petrozavodsk Victor, who offered his girlfriend Irina a hand and a heart directly from the stage.

For four days, more than 50 musical groups performed on two stages, as well as thematic platforms, master classes and photo zones worked. Around 5,000 children attended, making the festival even more family-friendly. A touching event was the official marriage of 10 couples by a visiting registry office on Russia Day, as well as the first determination of the sex of the future baby on stage - the Nagart group opened a sealed envelope with an announcement about the boy.

The realization of new opportunities for infrastructure development was due to the decision of the Head of Karelia Artur Parfenchikov to approve the Sands airfield as a permanent venue for the festival until 2042, which allowed to significantly improve the conditions for guests - stationary shower complexes and even a tent hotel appeared. The creator and producer of the festival Maxim Mazurovsky thanked everyone for their support and invited him to the "Air of Karelia" in 2027!
