Saul Williams returns with new album 'Leap Life'

American multitalented artist Saul Williams, known for roles in such projects as “Sinners” and cameo in the work of Deerhoof, seven years later will release his first studio album – “Leap Life”. The album, deliberately released on August 28 by Big Dada (which had previously released his early work in the late 90s), is a tribute to his birthday (February 29). Williams claims that his musical vision is based on the use of voice as an instrument, and the album combines elements of jazz, hip-hop, ambient and West African traditions. The recording features well-known musicians such as Robert "3D" Del Naia (Massive Attack), Kamasi Washington and Carlos Nino, who also deals with the "musical architecture" of the album. The single from the album, "Conspiracy", featuring Gonjasufi and Moor Mother, has already been designated as a lead single.
