PJ Harvey returns with a space song about Voyager

Pop musician PJ Harvey released the single "Voyager", a kind of "new signal" from her creative camp, three years after the album "I Inside the Old Year Dying". The song, commissioned by Professor Brian Cox (not a member of the Heirs family), tells the story of the Voyager 2 space probe launched by NASA in 1977. The recording was performed with an orchestra at Miraval Studios in Provence, France. The actress admits that the original idea arose when she sent Professor Cox a voice message with a song that immediately reminded him of Voyager and its signal. "Voyager" was originally developed for Harvey's upcoming album, and the song itself was the result of thinking about what the probe might say if it had the ability to speak.
