Basta and Polina Gagarina released the single “Phoenix” ten years after the previous collaborations

On July 3, 2026, the release of a joint single from Vasily Vakulenko (Basty) and Polina Gagarina – “Phoenix” took place. This fourth duet of artists who have combined their creative forces continues their long-standing friendship, which began during the participation in the jury of the show “The Voice”. Previous collaborations, including the singles "The Voice", "The World Is Not Enough" (from the album "9") and the charity song "Angel of Faith", were released ten years ago.

The initiator of the new song was Basta, who saw in it the potential to unite the two voices. The song has a powerful rock sound, an experiment, different from the previous works of the duo. Polina Gagarina notes: “We haven’t worked on a joint project for a long time, and when I heard what ‘Phoenix’ should sound like, I immediately wrote to Baste.”
