Queens of the Stone Age perform at Paris catacombs

Queens of the Stone Age (QotSA) have unveiled the concert film "Alive in the Catacombs", shot in the famous Paris catacombs. Joshua Hommy's dream of performing in these underground tunnels, where the remains of 6 million people rest, has haunted the band for 20 years. Despite numerous refusals from the city authorities, QotSA continued to wait. Last year, their wish was approved and the band was able to carry out their ambitious project. Hommy stresses that "Josh felt the potential of this place body and soul," and the concert itself, which is held among millions of human remains, including walls of skulls and bones, became the largest audience for the group. The recording of the unique acoustic concert, including the string section, will be released on June 5 on the band’s website. Pre-ordering provides access to exclusive footage from behind the scenes, and soon there will be an audio version of the concert.
