Sylvan Esso: New Horizons and Old Roots

Grammy-nominated American duo Sylvan Esso released their first album four years ago. During this time, the musicians who founded the label Psychic Hotline, actively collaborated with such famous artists as John Cale and Maggie Rogers, and also recorded a cover of the famous song "Fade Into You" Mazzy Star in the company of Gregory Alan Isakov. On September 11, their fifth studio album, “Ow ∞”, will be released, which is already encouraging. The album featured Wilco, Bon Iver, Wye Oak and The Mountain Goats. Sylvan Esso also released their second single, "Concrete Glen", which masterfully uses samples from Sigur Rós' "Svefn-g-englar". Amelia Meath says, “Living is always painful.
