The holding of the international music contest Intervision in Saudi Arabia, scheduled for 2026, is in doubt. According to information from Riyadh, the key details – the timing, the list of participants and the program of the event – remain unclear. Despite the announcement of the contest in 2025 and the hopes of Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Saudi Arabia has not yet announced the contest or provided information on the timing or participants. Russian organizers also did not take active measures to organize the event. The situation remains uncertain and further developments require careful observation.
