Tony Iommi releases Stormwatcher with Jørn Lande

Tony Iommi released Stormwatcher on September 30, featuring singer Jørn Lande and a guitar riff from the Black Sabbath founder. The official animated video follows a ship caught in a storm, matching the song's maritime imagery. Published through Iommi's own channel, the new video is embedded below.

Stormwatcher appears on From The Dark, due October 23, 2026 through BMG. Iommi co-produced the album with longtime collaborator Mike Exeter. Alongside Lande, the core band includes bassist Becky Baldwin and drummer Karl Brazil, who perform throughout the record rather than appearing only on the single.

The main programme contains eight songs; the deluxe CD adds Scent Of Dark and an extended Deified. Digital, CD and several double-vinyl editions are planned. World Alone introduced the album earlier, with the latest release extending the campaign ahead of October's arrival.
