Springsteen, Morello and Jack Black join forces at Power to the People

Power to the People took place on October 3, 2026 at Merriweather Post Pavilion in Columbia, Maryland. Curator Tom Morello brought together Foo Fighters, Bruce Springsteen, Joan Baez, Public Enemy and other established performers. Reports published the following day highlighted collaborations across the programme rather than a sequence of isolated sets.

Jack Black performed as Jack Sabbath, singing Mr Crowley and The Wizard. Black Sabbath bassist Geezer Butler joined him for War Pigs. Morello’s own set featured Serj Tankian and Dave Grohl, with Grohl taking part in Kiss’s Rock and Roll All Nite.

Springsteen and Baez sang Bob Dylan’s Chimes of Freedom; the finale united performers for John Lennon’s Power to the People and Woody Guthrie’s This Land Is Your Land. Part of ticket proceeds benefits VoteRiders and HeadCount. The official MS NOW YouTube broadcast is currently private: the festival website is linked below instead of a broken player.
