Pet Shop Boys release Alan Turing work A Man From The Future

Pet Shop Boys released A Man From The Future through Parlophone on October 9. The work follows eight chapters of Alan Turing’s life, with the Manchester Camerata Octet and spoken narration by actress Juliet Stevenson.

Sessions took place in London, Manchester and Berlin. Pet Shop Boys and Sven Helbig produced the record. The strings were recorded at Manchester’s Stoller Hall; Stevenson’s narration was captured in the duo’s London studio.

The release is available on CD, vinyl and digitally. The official shop offers a standard LP, a green-and-orange double-vinyl edition and a separate Blu-ray. CD buyers can choose a two-disc edition. Apple Music’s digital listing confirms today’s release date and the Parlophone licence.
