Duran Duran’s first vinyl remix album arrives October 30

Duran Duran have set October 30 for the physical release of Free To Love: Hot Star Remixes. Their October 6 announcement describes it as the band’s first remix album on vinyl and CD. The project revisits Free To Love, featuring Nile Rodgers, following the digital remixes released during the summer.

The formats are CD, a standard record and a special package pairing a 12-inch LP with a bonus seven-inch disc. Rory McCartney designed the packaging with photographs by keyboardist Nick Rhodes. The limited edition is sold through the official store and includes fold-out booklets; its bonus disc contains the original song and Spaghetti Exit.

The band have added their own versions, Love Overture and Across the Galaxy, for the physical editions. Guest remixers include Horse Meat Disco, ALISSIA, Trixie Mattel and DJ White Shadow. The October release therefore expands an existing digital project with additional recordings and new packaging.
