Hans Zimmer’s Blue Planet III score heads to arenas in 2027

Blue Planet III Live in Concert will visit British arenas in May 2027. The first dates are Manchester’s AO Arena on May 21, Birmingham’s bp pulse LIVE on May 22 and Glasgow’s OVO Hydro on May 23. A London date will be announced separately. FKP Scorpio Entertainment UK presents the production under licence from BBC Studios.

The City of Prague Philharmonic Orchestra will perform the score composed by Hans Zimmer, Thom Lukas and Laurentia Editha for Bleeding Fingers Music. Selected underwater footage will play on a 200-square-metre Ultra HD LED screen. Series executive producer Elizabeth White will host, explaining the filming and stories behind the images.

General ticket sales begin October 16. The six-part Blue Planet III series is expected on BBC One and iPlayer this autumn, narrated by David Attenborough. The announcement includes JADE and Hans Zimmer’s official Into The Deep (Seas Cry), embedded below. Organisers have not announced that Zimmer himself will perform on this tour.
