Tate McRae releases Housewife with a video filmed in southern France

Tate McRae has released Housewife through RCA Records with an official video. Apple Music dates the single October 15, 2026, while Sony Music published its release announcement October 16. The song addresses relationships, fame and personal independence, following a protagonist determined to define the terms of her own life.
Pierre-Ange Carlotti directed the video in southern France, with choreography by Sergio Reis. The label describes a seemingly perfect world of luxury set against emotional tension, exploring both the appeal of freedom and its personal cost. The complete official version is available on TateMcRaeVEVO and runs three minutes and 29 seconds.
Housewife follows 2025’s So Close To What, which topped the Billboard 200. Seven-inch vinyl and CD preorders for the new song are offered through her official store. Her next announced performance is October 18 at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in Los Angeles; Sony also highlights her summer Osheaga and Lollapalooza appearances.
