Sleaford Mods expand The Demise Of Planet X with nine tracks

Sleaford Mods have released an expanded digital edition of The Demise Of Planet X. Rough Trade Records announced its arrival on October 15, with NME reporting it on October 19. The band's Bandcamp confirms twenty-two songs, compared with thirteen on the original album.

The nine additions include Cato with Life Without Buildings singer Sue Tompkins, who also directed its official video. She previously appeared on the album's No Touch; the new collaboration was recorded in Nottingham roughly a month after their Bristol session.

Other additions include How What, Give 'Em What They Want and an alternative The Good Life with Big Special. Jason Williamson describes the extra recordings as material retained from the album's development. European touring continues this autumn, followed by US appearances in spring 2027, including Big Ears and Treefort.
