Dave Fortman targets early 2027 for Ugly Kid Joe's next album

Ugly Kid Joe guitarist and producer Dave Fortman is targeting the first quarter of 2027 for the band's next album. Blabbermouth reported his PodScum interview on October 20.

Fortman discussed a prospective arrangement with BLKIIBLK, part of Frontiers, rather than confirming a signed contract. The album would follow 2022's Rad Wings Of Destiny. He is producing the new material himself and has worked on songs with Whitfield Crane and Klaus Eichstadt.

He wants to align release, promotion and the band's Australian visit. The official website already advertises a March 2027 Australian tour co-headlining with Soul Asylum. Those touring plans are announced; the album date remains the musicians' target.
