FKA twigs will shape Meltdown at London's Southbank Centre from June 10 to 20, 2027. The singer, producer and choreographer becomes its thirty-second curator and will headline a concert herself. Her performance date and the lineup will be announced in spring.

The organiser promises dozens of concerts across eleven days, including two weekends of free events. Twigs' programme will draw on the different genres and cultural influences behind her music.

Separately, Southbank Centre and Music Venue Trust are launching Hometown Meltdown: six two-day events at smaller British venues from December 2026 to March 2027. Kelly Lee Owens, Jamie Cullum and Pauline Black are among that series' individual curators.
