Beth Orton announces Wellington and Auckland concerts for March 2027

Beth Orton will bring her band to New Zealand in March 2027. Promoter Banished Music lists Wellington Town Hall on March 12 and the Great Hall of Auckland Town Hall on March 14. The Auckland show is presented with Auckland Arts Festival; a WOMAD Aotearoa appearance in New Plymouth on March 13 sits between the two concerts.

Banished Music’s presale opens October 27 at 10am, followed by general sales on October 28 at 10am local time. These are separate theatre dates surrounding the festival appearance, with their own ticket arrangements rather than admission through WOMAD.

Orton released the self-produced The Ground Above in June 2026. The promoter names Shahzad Ismaily, Sam Beste, Tom Skinner and Adrian Utley among its contributors. The announcement extends her concert itinerary after that album’s release; a song-by-song programme for the March shows has not been announced.
