PBS schedules Tammy Wynette: Forever Yours with Ann Wilson and Wynonna Judd
PBS will premiere Tammy Wynette: Forever Yours on October 23 as part of Great Performances. The tribute concert was recorded in March at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium. BMG highlighted the broadcast on October 21; the programme presents that earlier recording, rather than a new concert taking place on its television premiere date.
Wynette’s daughter Georgette Jones introduces the programme. Performers include Wynonna Judd, Ann Wilson, The War & Treaty, Carter Faith and KT Tunstall. Wilson sings Stand By Your Man, Judd performs Woman to Woman, and The War & Treaty tackle Golden Ring, associated with Wynette and George Jones.
PBS lists 9/8c as its national time, but local schedules vary: PBS Hawaiʻi advertises an 8pm broadcast. Website and app access may also depend on location. The official Golden Ring excerpt offers a separate introduction to the programme, rather than the entire concert.
