John Legend releases Muse, an album produced by Pharrell Williams

John Legend released Muse on October 23 through Republic Records. Pharrell Williams produced the complete album and shares writing credits, while Clipse appear on Bodies On The Floor. The release brings together 16 tracks, including the previously introduced Daylight and Fireflies, alongside the opening title song.
The collaboration developed after Legend sang on The Birds Don’t Sing from Clipse’s Let God Sort ’Em Out. Legend and Williams began writing and recording in Paris in January 2025, working at the producer’s studio inside Louis Vuitton’s headquarters. It is their first full album project together.
Muse also includes Her, Get Back, Under The Bridge and Sail Off. The September announcement described influences from Nina Simone, Nat King Cole and Marvin Gaye. The complete record is now listed through Legend’s official release page; the accompanying player links to this album.
